Bariloche Argentina | Our Home For the Holidays

Situated at the foothills of the Andes and next to beautiful Nahuel Huapi Lake, Bariloche is the perfect spot to spend some time on the holidays. It’s been described as a quaint, Swiss-style, South American ski town with lots of chocolate shops around every corner. Sounds like it will be a real treat!

After our fast-paced tour of Patagonia, we wanted to return to our preferred, more slow-paced travels so we booked an apartment through Amenities include a stocked kitchen, WiFi, an in-unit washer, and stunning lake and sunset views. Although on the pricier side at $71 USD per night  (including all fees), we were in need of a nice play to stay after our “rustic” hostel stays in Patagonia and a 31-hour bus ride from El Calafate.

Always a treat when your host leaves some treats!

Upon arrival, we were greeted by an informative host with a few treats including wine, beer, soda, and snacks! We have a feeling this will be a great stay to enjoy the holidays in the mountains!

*Budget Tip: Stay within walking distance of the city center!
