Best Bali Honeymoon Resort – Party Like a Kardashian!

This Bali honeymoon resort is not only for newleweds. In fact, Kim Kardashian celebrated a recent birthday at this ridiculously luxurious vacation resort. Her sisters Khloe and Kourtney tagged along for the ride, along with their children—Chicago, North, Saint, Reign, Penelope, True, and Mason.

The resort is mainly visited by couples looking for a romantic retreat, making it the ideal place to take a honeymoon in Bali.

Honeymoon in Bali

The entire family stayed at Soori Bali, a 48-villa resort set along the ocean, rice fields, and Mount Batukaru. It recently was added to the list of Leading Hotels of the World. The short retreat set back the Kardashians about $30,000, pocket change for them—no need to worry though, you can do it for a lot less.

The relaxing aesthetic that the hotel creates is obvious from the second guests pass through the “arrival courtyard,” with its impressive marble, greenery, and serene pools.

Their Tiniest Villa is the Size of a Mansion

Starting at about $640 per night, the smallest villa is 2,248 square feet and comes with a private pool. It’s quite budget savvy for the level of service and amenities that are included. The villas range from one-bedrooms to three and six-bedrooms, and they all have views of the ocean and the mountains.

The Gigantic Soori Estate Includes Five Pools and a Helipad

Guess which family stayed here? The nonsensical, ridiculous, over-the-top, 56,510-square-foot, 10-bedroom mega-mansion has a gym, an outdoor pavilion, a spa therapy room, a library, and an enormous dining room. Rates start at about $10,000 per night.

The main infinity pool includes a jacuzzi, making the four smaller pools merely accents. The hour-long drive to the airport can be accomplished in about 10 minutes using the helipad that’s located next to the villa.

What’s On the Menu?

The three on-site restaurants use only the freshest produce from nearby farms and spices hand-picked from its garden.

Their specialties include Balinese-style grilled barramundi with raw spices, banana dumplings with pandan gel and coconut tuile, and luscious juices with organic snacks.

Looking for Wellness? Hit Up the Spa

When guests finally find the motivation to leave their villa, the first stop should be the Soori Spa. It has five treatment rooms tailor-made with terra-cotta tiles and calming dark stone. The spa focuses on massages and alignment therapies, meditation, acupuncture, and Neurotherapy. For those guests looking for a bit more activity, the resort even has a yoga room.

The spa encourages guests to experience the special rituals. The Balinese Beauty Ritual experience will increase body temperature and alleviate joint and skin issues. Incorporated into the session is a mixture of herbs and spices. Also included, are a pressure-point marma facial, a boreh scrub and mask, and an hour-long massage.

Don’t Forget to See the Nearby Temples

The short day trip begins with a hike to Pura Penarukan, then additional holy sites in Pura Ulun Suwi, Kerambitan, and Alas Kedaton. Afterward, take a visit to Tanah Lot, a 15th-century temple on a seaward rock, and Timan Agung temple, which includes cocktails and snacks. C’mon, it’s Bali, so of course, there’s going to be some sort of sunset and cocktail included.

Take a Helicopter Tour of the Island

Soori will help plan a spectacular private helicopter tour that departs directly from their helipad. Starting at about $500, you’ll see ancient temples, rice fields, volcanos, lakes, beaches, and dramatic cliffs. It’s a must-do!
